Symptoms

When the Java application connects to ODSEE over SSL -

LDAPException(resultCode=91 (connect error), errorMessage='An error occurred while attempting to connect to server <HOST>:<PORT>: javax.net.ssl.SSLException: Received fatal alert: bad_record_mac')

In the ODSEE access log -
[13/Jun/2017:10:43:52 +0000] conn=2926734 op=-1 msgId=-1 - fd=112 slot=112 LDAPS connection from <IP_ADDR>:<CONN> to <IP_ADDR>
[13/Jun/2017:10:43:52 +0000] conn=2926734 op=0 msgId=-1 - closing from <IP_ADDR>:<CONN> - B4 - Server failed to flush BER data back to client -
[13/Jun/2017:10:43:52 +0000] conn=2926734 op=-1 msgId=-1 - closed.
