Symptoms
Symptom -1 : Configuring Oracle Directory Integration Platform (DIP) to use SSL Mode 2 using the following Note: How to Configure 11g DIP for SSL Mode 2 Server Authentication (Doc ID 1203927.1)
Attempting Step 7 (Login to Fusion Middleware control and set DIP to use new SSL port and MODE 2) in the above Note fails with:
Symptom-2 : While starting wls_od1, server is coming up but DIP is showing as down in EM console and seen below error in wls_ods1 startup log:
