Last updated on JANUARY 07, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Directory Server Enterprise Edition - Version and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

The following attribute mapping has been configured on the Directory Proxy Server...

dn: cn=<CN>,cn=data views,cn=config
readOnly: false
dataSourcePool: defaultDataSourcePool
viewBase: dc=<SUFFIX_DN>
objectClass: top
objectClass: configEntry
objectClass: dataView
objectClass: ldapDataView
cn: <CN>
viewAlternateSearchBase: dc=<ALT_BASE>
viewAlternateSearchBase: ""
dataSourceBase: dc=<SUFFIX_DN#1>
attributeMapping: displayname#uid      <--- Mapping Here

A query through DPS returns the DN in which the RDN has changed...

So, DPS attribute mapping has changed the RDN from uid=<DISP_NAME> to displayname=<DISP_NAME>. Is this expected behavior?
