RDN Changed by Directory Proxy Server Attribute Mapping Feature

(Doc ID 2284517.1)

Last updated on JULY 24, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle Directory Server Enterprise Edition - Version and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

The following attribute mapping has been configured on the Directory Proxy Server...

dn: cn=oracle,cn=data views,cn=config
readOnly: false
dataSourcePool: defaultDataSourcePool
viewBase: dc=lab,dc=com
objectClass: top
objectClass: configEntry
objectClass: dataView
objectClass: ldapDataView
description: lab test
cn: oracle
viewAlternateSearchBase: dc=com
viewAlternateSearchBase: ""
dataSourceBase: dc=example,dc=com
attributeMapping: displayname#uid      <--- Mapping Here

A query through DPS returns the DN in which the RDN has changed...

So, DPS attribute mapping has changed the RDN from uid=tone to displayname=tone. Is this expected behavior?
