Goal

Oracle Access Manager (OAM) 11g - Protecting Intranet and Extranet Applications with a Single OAM 11g Deployment

Customer specific scenario ...

  • It is necessary protect resources with a single OAM installation, but the load balancing URL must be different depending on the location from where the user is trying to access from.
  • Two workplaces, and the main domain used to balance OAM access (for example .mycompanydom1.com) will be resolved by DNS to the servers in the first workplace
  • In the second one it will resolve to other servers, for example(local to the second workplace, and needing to use another domain, for example .mycompanydom2.com) to reach the OAM servers.
  • This corporate architecture cannot be modified.

The problem is that OAM will not permit us to configure this second domain (.mycompanydom2.com) as we are already using the first one.
