ODI Connected to VCS SVN, "Compare with Last Version" of Some Objects Fails with "ODI-13002: Error Fetching Objects From Version Control System" (Doc ID 2284822.1)

Symptoms

In Oracle Data Integrator (OD) 12.2.1.2.6 connected to Version Control System (VCS) Apache Subversion (SVN), when attempting to verify the changed objects reported by "Pending Changes" the following error occurs:

ODI-13002: Error Fetching Objects From Version Control System

To reproduce the issue (not all objects will produce the error):

  1. Login to a BRANCH Repository.
          
  2. Verify Pending Changes, select Menu: Team > VCS Actions > Pending Changes.
          
  3. In "Pending Changes" select only one object, for example "GLOBAL".
               
  4. Click "Compare with Last Version".

    Notice the error "ODI-13002: Error Fetching Objects From Version Control System"

    The popup repeatedly opens after attempting to close, and ODI Studio needs to be killed.
