Last updated on FEBRUARY 02, 2021

Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

When configuring EMS to connect to a distributed queue or connection factory you need to specify the following FactoryProperties:

FactoryProperties
java.naming.factory.initial=weblogic.jndi.WLInitialContextFactory;
java.naming.provider.url=t3://:,:;
java.naming.security.principal=;java.naming.security.credentials=

Example:
java.naming.factory.initial=weblogic.jndi.WLInitialContextFactory;java.naming.provider.url=t3://host:8011,t3://host:8012;java.naming.security.principal=weblogic;java.naming.security.credentials=welcome1

The configuration shows the password in clear text, is there any way to avoid this?
