Goal
Setting up Oracle REST Data Services requires two steps:
1. Configuration, which creates the configuration files needed to run ORDS.
2. Installation, which allows ORDS to run and be called from a front end web server: standalone / Jetty, WebLogic Server, Tomcat or Glassfish.
It is often helpful for trouble shooting to configure and run ORDS in standalone mode prior to deploying ORDS in WebLogic, Tomcat or Glassfish. This document describes how to configure and run ORDS in standalone mode.
