Can we recover instances from Stale to Running state (Doc ID 2288728.1)

Goal

 Oracle SOA components were redeployed, which caused several workflow tasks to change their status to "Closed/Stale" (state=9 in cube_instance table) . Is there any way for such changes to be undone?
