Third Party Applications Are Hanging Or Crashing When The UI Automation Component Is Enabled (Doc ID 2289737.1)

Information in this document applies to any platform.


Some Third Party applications are crashing or hanging when Logon Manger is running. Some applications known to be effected are:

Adobe Acrobat

Microsoft Excel,

Microsoft Visual Studio

Lotus Notes


Microsoft Outlook

If Logon Manager is shut down these applications work with no problems. 

If the Logon Manager UI Automation component (found under the application support in the add/remove programs wizard) is removed, then Logon Manager can

be run without effecting these applications.
