Not Able to Start Standalone Reports Server - REP-51002 REP-50600 (Doc ID 2290905.1)

Symptoms

Trying to run reports fail with the following error.

Example

REP-51002: Bind to Reports Server REPORTS_SERVER_NAME failed.

 

Reviewing rwserver_diagnostic.log file is showing the following error.

at oracle.reports.server.RWServer.startServer(RWServer.java:1073)
at oracle.reports.server.RWServer.jniMain(RWServer.java:289)

 

Nodemanager tries to start reports server but fails and it keeps trying.
