Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

This document explains the details of how to configure a Web Cache cluster on
a machine with multiple network interface cards (NICs).

This note is intended if you want to run Web Cache
instances as a cluster on a machine with multiple NICs. You may
desire this configuration because it is a convenient alternative to simulate
running a Web Cache cluster on multiple machines. Furthermore, this configuration
enables partitioning of messages to the Web Cache instances based on IP addresses.
For example, you could have all ‘intranet’ messages going to one IP and all Internet
messages going to another IP.

The procedures described in this note are applicable for Oracle9iAS Web Cache
9.0.2.x and 9.0.3.x
