Symptoms
New installation of Oracle Reports 12c 12.2.1.2.
Trying to run a Report having PLSQL code in Before Parameter Form trigger(BeforePForm). While executing the report the report engine fails with below error.
REP-56048: Engine rwEng-0 crashed., job Id: x
The issue occurs when running Oracle Reports with rwclient, rwservlet, or rwrun. Below is a sample code found in BeforePForm trigger.
*** We have seen in other situations that a report was working fine in 12.2.1.1 and failing with REP-56048 in 12.2.1.2.
