MAF Enhancement: FAR For Application Controller - Merge And Consume In Other Projects

(Doc ID 2297070.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 24, 2017

Applies to:

Mobile Application Framework - Version 2.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The requirement is to have a common module for all MAF applications which do the below activities:

1. Store all the web service request logged in the device database.
2. All the user click patterns logged in the device database.

For this, there is a need to create an ApplicationController Project which will have
the DB script and DB Connection Classes.  Such an AppController project can be
imported as a FAR in other applications which also have their own DB Script file.

DB Connection classes should be reusable and it should be merged with the DB
files to create total objects out of them.

It can then be used in all projects.  Otherwise it becomes necessary to duplicate things.
