Symptoms

Using an X client to launch Oracle Fusion Middleware 12c Repository Creation Utility (RCU) from ORACLE_HOME/oracle_common/bin gives exception in thread "main" java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke0(Native Method).
