Goal
The purpose of this Note is to clarify the support and use of Web Cache with Oracle Forms.
This Note is intended for use by System Administrators and addresses the use of Web Cache as a load balancer for Forms applications.
Special attention should be paid to the requirement that Web Cache, OHS, and OC4J must be at minimum patch set level 9.0.2.1 or higher (i.e., 9.0.2.2, 10.1.2.3, etc.) for this deployment to work correctly. This patch set contains a fix for OC4J bug 2354631. Also note that Oracle9iAS 9.0.3.x should not be used for this purpose.
