Content Presenter With "Content Under A Folder" Is Not Showing Content after upgrade to 12.2.1.2 (Doc ID 2300310.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 09, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle WebCenter Portal - Version 12.2.1.2.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After upgrading from 11.1.1.9 to 12.2.1.2, when trying to use Content Presenter (with Content Under a Folder option) and clicking the Preview tab, an "Internal Error" message is returned.

When doing the same, but clicking on the "Browse" button to try and browse content in a UCM folder, the same error is seen.

The content is there in the folders and can be successfully accessed directly in WebCenter Content. Diagnostic logs for the WC Portal managed server show errors like this (related to Coherence Cache):

[WC_Spaces1] [ERROR] [WCS-07897] [oracle.webcenter.doclib.internal.model.presenter.PresenterRetrievalException] [tid: [ACTIVE].ExecuteThread: '0' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default (self-tuning)'] [userId: <USER>] [ecid: <ECID>] [APP: webcenter] [partition-name: DOMAIN] [tenant-name: GLOBAL] [DSID: <DSID>] Error retrieving node(s).[[
