Oracle WebLogic Server - Version 10.3.6 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

After updating the JDK, the WLS Admin Console pages are responding slower than expected. In this case, the summary of Server page and Deployments page in Admin Console take 45-60 seconds.

Before the JDK upgrade to JDK 1.7 from JRockit 1.6 on WLS 10.3.6 these two pages are very quick, about 10secs.

Using the Java Flight Recorder (JFR) utility, the Admin Server shows the following thread contention:

Stack Trace Count Duration
weblogic.socket.PosixSocketMuxer.processSockets() 5,039 1,774,827,695,000
weblogic.socket.SocketReaderRequest.run() 5,039 1,774,827,695,000
weblogic.socket.SocketReaderRequest.execute(ExecuteThread) 5,039 1,774,827,695,000
weblogic.kernel.ExecuteThread.execute(ExecuteRequest) 5,039 1,774,827,695,000
weblogic.kernel.ExecuteThread.run() 5,039 1,774,827,695,000
