Errors Displaying Approval Details History With 'Error occurred while displaying History tree table' Or The Table May Contain Duplicate Tasks

This issue is specific to composites containing several human tasks in sequence, some of which are configured with skip rules.
If the first task is configured with a skip rule, and the skip rule is invoked, you observe that while checking the request details, the history tree on the Approvals tab is not displayed. An error is thrown: 'Error occurred while displaying History tree table'. In the logs you see:
If a skip rule is invoked for a later task, no error is seen when trying to view the approval history, but its observed that approval data from the previous task is duplicated. However, after later approvals have been completed, the duplicate data is no longer displayed.
