Symptoms

On : OTD 12.2.1.0.0 version, Configuration

OTD-63208 Unable to set file permissions for the directory

When activating the change or restart instances using OTD EM Console,  received the error and cannot activate the change or restart the second instance.

Validate Restart operation on target /Domain_otd_domain/otd_domain/otd_omt-tst_otd01
Validate Restart operation on target /Domain_otd_domain/otd_domain/otd_omt-tst_otd02

Perform Restart operation on target /Domain_otd_domain/otd_domain/omt-tst
Perform Restart operation on target /Domain_otd_domain/otd_domain/otd_omt-tst_otd01
Perform Restart operation on target /Domain_otd_domain/otd_domain/otd_omt-tst_otd02

Checking operation status on target /Domain_otd_domain/otd_domain/omt-tst
Received error message from Node Manager Server: [Node Manager command 'COMMIT_CHANGELIST' failed unexpectedly due to: [OTD-67801 Commit failed with the following errors:

OTD-63208 Unable to set file permissions for the directory: <domain_home>/config/fmwconfig/components/OTD/instances/otd_omt-uat_otd02/config

 The file created in <DOMAIN_HOME>/config/fmwconfig/components/OTD/instances/otd_omt-uat_otd02/config directory has the following attributes:

  rw-------+ 1 root   oinstall   213 Aug 11 13:00 .toc
