Symptoms

On Oracle Enterprise Metadata Management (OEMM) 12.1.3 and later releases, the Oracle Data Integrator bridge fails to connect to ODI 12c repository configured to external authentication with the following error:

Information [2017-08-21 16:48:50] MITI component(s) with build version '9.0.2 - 2017-07-11': MIRBridgeConstants.jar
Error [2017-08-21 16:48:53] oracle.odi.core.config.UncategorizedConfigurationException: ODI-10181: Uncategorized configuration exception.
JPS-01531: Configuration location ./config/jps-config.xml is a directory. File name expected.
Error [2017-08-21 16:48:53] [JBDG_F0006] The java process did not complete successfully
