Symptoms

Modifying pwdchangedtime attribute in any version of Oracle Internet Directory (OID) with ldapmodify fails with:

ldapadd -h <OID_HOSTNAME> -p <PORT> -D "cn=orcladmin" -w "<PASSWORD>" -c -f pwdchangedtime.ldif
modifying entry cn=<USERNAME>,cn=Users,dc=<COMPANY>,dc=com
ldap_modify: Constraint violation
ldap_modify: additional info: Admin Domain restricts modification of Attribute: pwdchangedtime .

Using bulkmodify also fails with:

Cannot Perform BulkModify operation on 'pwdchangedtime' Attribute.
