Goal

Is there a supported mechanism to retrieve a previous version of an asset as a valid asset?

For example, with WebCenter Content (WCC/UCM) documents sychronized with WebCenter Sites (WCS), we want to maintain each version of the UCM document as a content revision that is accessible using a date range comparison to a date attribute and revision number. For example, if an asset in WCS has 4 revisions, the asset API returns the most recent (#4). In this example, I would like to have version #2 return and displayed to the end user.

Is this possible in WCS?
