Symptoms

The Oracle Internet Directory (OID) server starts normally, however after some time the OID server processes restarts generating a core dump in the process. 

The $ORACLE_INSTANCE/diagnostics/logs/OPMN/opmn/opmn.out log contains errors such as:

 Server was restarted without first cleanly stopping OPMN and its managed processes (OID, OHS, etc)
