Table In ClickToEdit Mode With Immediate Set To True Does Not Work Anymore (Doc ID 2317285.1)

Last updated on MARCH 18, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle JDeveloper - Version 12.2.1.2.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In an ADF 12.2.1.2.0 application, a table in clickToEdit mode with immediate set to true does not work anymore as it used to work in 11g.
This is a migrated project from 11g to 12c and one table is not working anymore. This table is just a VO drag and drop as a Table. The editingMode is set to clickToEdit and the immediate is set to true.
When running the page the first row of the table is editable:

Then clicking on another row, the row gets selected (the row background is colored) but is not editable. However the first row is still editable.

The issue prevents users from editing table information. The feature was used in 11g to allow users to easily edit or add records, but allowing them to perform multiple operations simultaneously.
