OVD 11g ACL Problems With ChangeUserRDN Plug-in No results returned (Doc ID 2318758.1)

Symptoms

Issues using ChangeUserRDN plug-in.
Changing RDN like example below in order to change users' RDN from:
CN=user1,OU=internal,dc=COMPANY,dc=com
to:
samaccountname=user1,OU=internal,dc=COMPANY,dc=com


Setting ACLs based on AD group user1 is a member of


Issuing the following search
./ldapsearch -h OVD-IP -p 6501 -D "samaccountname=user1,OU=internal,dc=COMPANY,dc=com" -b "dc=COMPANY,dc=com" cn=user1*

Returns 0 results and OVD diag logs reports a deny



Changes
