OAM is Unable to Connect to WebLogic Server Embedded LDAP to Authenticate (Doc ID 2319929.1)

Symptoms

Authentication is failing when attempting to use Oracle Access Manager or other applications to connect to the WebLogic Server's embedded ldap. Using the command line ldapbind command shows the following Invalid credentials error occurs:

ldapbind -h host_name -p port -D "cn=weblogic" -w password ldap_bind: Local error
ldapbind -U 2 -h host_name -p port -D "cn=weblogic" -w password -W file:///path/keystores/storefilename/ -P password ldap_bind: Invalid credentials
