Enrollment Questions With Regular Expressions Containing The Backslash Character Failed To Accept Valid Enrollment Answers During The Enrollment Quiz (Doc ID 2320428.1)

Symptoms

Oracle Enterprise Single Sign-On Password Reset 11.1.2.3.1

Date format in ESSO Password Reset is not working for enrollment questions.

Enrollment questions are configured to use a 4 digit number (for a year) and it returns an error when users enter a 4-digit response for the question during the enrollment quiz .

The correct regular expression formatting is: 
/d{4}

ERROR

"The answer does not meet the expected format."


STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Create a security challenge question in the ESSO-PR web management console.
  2. Configure the question response to use a 4-digit response to represent a year.
  3. Start the Password Reset quiz.
  4. Attempt to enter the 4-digit response for the selected question.
