Symptoms
After selecting 'Vendor Search" in WebCenter Forms Recognition (WFR) , the below error occurs:
Server Error in '/WebVerifier' Application.
Request timed out.
Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.
Exception Details: System.web.HttpException: Request timed out.
Source Error:
An unhandled exception was generated during the execution of the current web request. Information regarding the origin and location of the exception can be identified using the stack trace below.
Stack Trace:
[HttpException (0x80004005) : Request timed out.]

This started to happen with increased usage.
Changes
The VendorASSA field was configured to return a significantly higher number of candidates than the default value of 10. In this case, the Vendor pool contains over 100,000 rows. The combination of a large pool to search and attempt to return 50 candidates resulted in the search timing out and throwing this error.
