Symptoms
With extremely high index entry limits configured (e.g. 600K index entry limit across numerous attributes), excessive growth of the underlying .jdb database files has been observed under the following circumstances...
1. Running the 'verify-index' command while the OUD Directory Server is online and processing LDAP requests.
2. Adding new entries with large attributes to be indexed.
3. Deleting entries with large numbers of heavily indexed attributes.
