Symptoms
On WebLogic Server 12.1.1, when a capacity constraint configured for a workmanager associated with a JSP is exceeded a NPE is logged and the custom 503 error page is not shown. Logs show the following:
<BEA-002911> <Work Manager ap_scope_workmanager01 failed to schedule a request due to java.lang.NullPointerException
