ODI OdiExportLog Tool not Generating Export File (Doc ID 2324836.1)

Symptoms

When executing an Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) package containing the tool OdiExportLog to export logs, the export file is not being created as expected. Using the Studio interface to export the logs with the same settings does generate the export file.

The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

  1. Open the package executing the export.
  2. Execute the OdiExportLog step to export logs.
  3. Check the operator log and notice that nothing was generated for that step. Alternatively, check the target file location and notice that no file is generated.
