Siebel Adapter iFrame does not sort Date metadata correctly: sorting date like it is a string (Doc ID 2325370.1)

Symptoms

Issue

Defined custom metadata xDocReceivedDate that is defined as a date, and is displayed it in the Webcenter Content Siebel Adapter iFrame.

Documents are sorted in default iFrame initially, according to this date metadata, in descending order, which is correct.

However, clicking the column header to sort ascending, or back to descending, it is not sorted correctly - it is sorting the dates like they are string metadata (text).
