Purpose

This document supplements the Managing Search in WebCenter Portal with Elasticsearch chapter in the guide to Fusion Middleware Administering Oracle WebCenter Portal.

It addresses known issues with installation and configuration of Elasticsearch in WebCenter Portal.

Scope

Oracle WebCenter Portal 12c (12.2.1.3.0) supports Elasticsearch, a highly scalable search engine. However, Elasticsearch must be installed and configured in WebCenter Portal for use to search portals and content such as documents, wikis, blogs, page metadata, etc.
