ESS Job Execution Falls Back an Hour after Daylight Saving Time (Doc ID 2327766.1)

Last updated on APRIL 17, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle SOA Suite - Version 12.2.1.1.0 to 12.2.1.3.0 [Release 12c]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

ESS jobs are required to run at a particular time, irrespective of Daylight Saving Time (DST). The calculated job schedule reveals that when DST starts 05-NOV-2017, job execution will move back by an hour.

Is there an option to ignore DST when creating a job so that the schedule does not have to be changed each time DST starts or stops?
