Devices are Missing From WebCenter Portal Administration -> Settings -> Device Settings (Doc ID 2328191.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

Devices are Missing From WebCenter Portal Administration -> Settings - > Device Settings.

The WebCenter Portal Devices page is blank, all seeded and custom devices are missing.

There is no error in the user interface and no error in the Portal diagnostic logs.


EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Expect to see the devices both seeded and custom.


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

  1. Connect to WebCenter Portal.

  2. Go to Administration -> Settings -> Devices Settings -> Devices.

    You will now see the devices page is empty.
    None of the seeded or custom devices is showing.




Changes

Revoked view permissions from Public-User.

This can be verified as follows from the WebCenter UI:
