Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Cookie and header variable sharing between protected and unprotected application.

We have two web applications,
http://xxdev.myaccount.pseg.com and http://xxdev.xxpublic.pseg.com.

Both these applications are hosted on single IIS web-server on the same web-site.
Both these application are defined as virtual hosts and integrated with a single web-gate.

xxdev.myaccount.pseg.com is protected whereas xxdev.xxpublic.pseg.com is unprotected.
In order to achieve this we have user two host identifier.

The whole scenario is working fine.

However, we want to share the cookie and header variable set by xxdev.myaccount.pseg.com with xxdev.xxpublic.pseg.com.
