'Synonym Mode UPDATE' and 'Synonym Mode INSERT_UPDATE' Missing from the ODI 11.1.1.9 Import Options (Doc ID 2328803.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to import an interface object into an Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 11.1.1.9 repository using Studio, there are no 'Synonym Mode UPDATE' or 'Synonym Mode INSERT_UPDATE' selections available. These options existed in previous ODI 11g versions and later ODI 12c versions when importing mappings.

This can be replicated by right-clicking the Interfaces node in a project and selecting 'Import Interface...' It is expected that the two highlighted options would be available, however, they are not in the drop-down list.

Changes

This behavior may be discovered if ODI was upgraded from a previous version where the import mode options are available.
