Java Console Shows "The certificate has expired, and is timestamped in valid period" for Non-Expired Certificate (Doc ID 2329808.1)

Symptoms

Running Forms 11.1.2.2  or forms 12.2.1.3 and using JRE 8u151/2 prior to 1 Feb 2018.

The java console shows:

security: The certificate has expired, need to check timestamping info
security: Timestamping info is available
security: The certificate has expired, and is timestamped in valid period
security: Start checking TSA certificate path
.............................
.............................
security: Even though certificate has expired, it is timestamped in valid period and has valid TSA

Using the steps in <Note 1268757.1> it can be verified that the certificate used to sign the jar files has not expired.
