OAM: : Intermittent OAM login failures with- Socket Exceptions at OVD Layer (Doc ID 2330526.1)

On : version, OAM SERVER

 OAM servers experiencing high login response time intermittently.

The pattern seen is sudden drop in the number of user logins due to increased  wait times... the login transactions then resume followed by  sudden spike in user login times and then a dip.

The logs show lot of ldap authentication failures... and ovd logs show socket closures..

Below is an example stack trace taken from one of the JFRs that seems to be a common theme with all the delays that show up around the same date/time frame.
