Symptoms

Web edit mode not working due to "Uncaught DOMException: Blocked a frame with origin "{host-name}" from accessing a cross-origin frame.

When attempting to load an asset in Web edit mode, the following behavior is observed:

 - In green bar under the Edit bar: "You seem to have navigated to an external site. Refresh the current tab to go back to..."
 - In the web browser console: "Uncaught DOMException: Blocked a frame with origin "{host-name}" from accessing a cross-origin frame.
