Integer Value in Default Folder Metadata is Not Validated

Goal
Integer value in default folder metadata is not validated, however, integer value in content metadata is validated.
Step to reproduce:
1.
Launch "Configuration Manager" applet.
2.
Add field which select "Field Type" as "Integer"
Update Database Design and Rebuild Search Index to enable above.
3.
Browse Folder. And then select "Edit" -> "Metadata Values"
4.
Set large value in created field and save. (ex 1050123456789012345678901234567890123457)
5.
select "Edit" -> "Metadata Values" to reopen folder metadata.
You see value in added field is changed. (ex 5,698,928,270,890,547,905)
In the case of content metadata:
Add new content with setting large value in Integer field.
You see the following error.
Content Server Request Failed
Error Content item 'XXXXX' was not successfully checked in.
The value '1050123456789012345678901234567890123457' in field 'IntegerMetaTest' is not an integer.
