<af:richTextEditor> Component Stops Working On Internet Explorer 11 After Adding A Hyperlink (Doc ID 2335934.1)

Symptoms

On : 11.1.1.7.0 version, ADF Core + patch 25688845,

Cannot change text's font in <af:richTextEditor> component after adding a hyperlink in the text when running on Internet Explorer 11

An ADF application has a page with just a <af:richTextEditor> component with the following code

<af:richTextEditor label="Label 1" id="rte1" autoSubmit="true"/>

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
When running the page in Internet Explorer 11, after adding an hyperlink to the text the <af:richTextEditor> component no longer behaves as expected when trying to apply changes to the text's font.  The application behaves as expected on other browsers.


EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
The font changes should be reflected no matter there is an hyperlink in the text consistently across all browsers.
