Symptoms
Customer reported an error while calling NamedCache API call destroy() in the 12.2.1.x.x cluster. The customer extended the wrapperCacheService & wrapperNamedCache classes as referenced in securing extend client connections. The customer overrides the cache.clear() method so that no proxy client can call cache.clear() on the .NET ASPSession shared cache. Similarly, they have overridden the destroy() method too. However, it throws the below error.
