OUD 11g - The ODSEE Migration "import-ldif" Contains Replication Update Vector (RUV) MetaData (Doc ID 2339462.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 20, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Unified Directory - Version 11.1.2.3.170718 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

When migrating ODSEE to OUD an export file was taken from the Oracle Directory Server Enterprise Edition (ODSEE) with the --no-repl flag.  It was found that it contains some nsds50ruv information for each BaseDN.  Should this information be removed prior to performing an "import-LDIF" or is it needed/required?

None of the documentation is specific on this subject.

Export example from ODSEE:

# entry-id: 53
dn: entryUUID=ffffffff-ffff-ffff-ffff-ffffffffffff, ou=<OU>, dc=<SUFFIX_DN>
objectclass: top
objectclass: extensibleobject
objectclass: ldapSubEntry
