Symptoms

NOTE: In the images below, user details / company name / address / email / telephone number represent a fictitious sample (based upon made up data used in the Oracle Demo instance). Any similarity to actual persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental and not intended in any manner.

In Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12.2.1.3, scenarios can be generated successfully.  When running these scenarios, they will complete successfully with all steps and relevant code upon first execution.  The scenarios will also complete successfully if a new version is created (by right clicking on the scenario name and clicking "Version -> Create Version").

Successful execution of the scenario is presented in the screenshot below:

If any of the scenarios in ODI 12.2.1.3 are regenerated (by right clicking on the scenario name and clicking "Regenerate"), the regeneration process itself will succeed.  However, when running the scenario there are issues with the scenario steps containing mappings - these steps will complete, but there will be no associated code generated (as seen in the session execution log).

Unsuccessful execution of the scenario is presented in the screenshot below:

The same issue has been reported if the scenario is regenerated from a package.

Changes

An upgrade has occurred from a previous version of ODI to ODI 12.2.1.3.
