Second Reminder To Manager's Manager Failed with Error: Invalid Address

Initial Manager Notification and First escalation to Managers sent out from the system without any issue.
We had set the SECOND REMINDER TO MANAGER'S MANAGER and it throws below error while sending the reminders:
Cc: email@example.com, firstname.lastname@example.org
Subject: Employee Access Review; assistance needed in completing review
00:13:52,924 ERROR [ReminderManagerImpl] ERROR SendEmail error : Failed messages: javax.mail.SendFailedException: Invalid Addresses;
nested exception is:
com.sun.mail.smtp.SMTPAddressFailedException: 501 5.1.3 Invalid address
