During NIO Conversion 4 Objects Are Getting Created In USERs Tablespace
(Doc ID 2341693.1)
Last updated on OCTOBER 29, 2021
Applies to:
Oracle WebCenter Sites - Version 12.2.1.2.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
When trying to convert the shared folder via NIO from disk to DB, while nio.sh script ran successfully, 4 objects are created in the unsecure USERs tablespace.
The 4 objects are as follows:
SEGMENT_NAME SEGMENT_TYPE BYTES TABLESPACE_NAME OWNER
------------------------- --------------- ---------- --------------- -------
WCS_SHAREDFILESYSTEM TABLE 150994944 USERS WCSM_WCSITES
SYS_IL0000000002C00007$$ LOBINDEX 2097152 USERS WCSM_WCSITES
WCS_SHAREDFILESYSTEM_PK INDEX 134217728 USERS WCSM_WCSITES
SYS_LOB0000000002C00007$$ LOBSEGMENT 1610612736 USERS WCSM_WCSITES
The objects should be created in the Owner's default tablespace where all the application data is contained such as SECURE_WCSM_TS_WCSITES. Not in the USERS tablespace. The SECURE_WCSM_TS_WCSITES is also using Tablespace Data Encryption as per requirements from SECOP's around data storage. So the data should be stored in the correct schemas tablespace.
