WorkFlow Notification Emails Are Not Generated When Content Steps Into A WorkFlow (Doc ID 2342493.1)

Symptoms

ISSUE
-----------------------
Notification emails are not generated during the workflow process although test emails can be sent using the admin 'Sent Test Email' link. It is expected that emails are to be sent to approvers, reviewers etc.


ERROR

None


STEPS TO REPLICATE
-----------------------
1. Create a criteria based workflow.
2. Choose criteria definition.
3. Add a criteria step for the users to review the current revision and added a local user.
4. When a content item is checked-in and enters the workflow from above, no email is sent to reviewer/approver.

Note: Test emails were sent successfully using the 'Sent Test Email' link found in the Administration drop-down menu.

Reviewers, approvers, are not notified by emails when a content item enters a workflow process.
