ODSEE 11g - The ns-slapd Command Does Not Return the Correct Result Code. (Doc ID 2342868.1)

Goal

When checking the ODSEE version with "ns-slapd -V" command, the command does not return the correct Result Code.

# /opt/odsee11.1.1.7.0/dsee7/lib64/ns-slapd -D /opt/odsee11.1.1.7.0/instances/dsinst6389/ -V
Oracle Corporation.

However, the Result Code will be "0" when using the "-v" option for the ns-slapd command as follows:

# /opt/odsee11.1.1.7.0/dsee7/lib64/ns-slapd -D /opt/odsee11.1.1.7.0/instances/dsinst6389/ -v
