Symptoms

 Some less robustly programmed applications depend on the DBMS/driver's behavior when a local transaction is abandoned and the connection isclosed. Some DBMSes/drivers such as for Sybase and SQLServer will roll back. But, in weblogic it will commit when such a pooled (non-XA) connection is closed.
